Privacy Policy
Last updated October 23, 2026
This policy covers the website chrisgonzalez.net, run by Chris Gonzalez, an independent software developer (“I”, “me”). Each app has its own privacy policy:
The short version
This website does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, social media embeds or third-party fonts. It does not ask for your name, email or anything else, and it doesn’t set any cookies unless you change the colour theme.
Information this website handles
Server logs
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and the page requested — to deliver and secure the site. I don’t have access to these logs. GitHub’s handling of this data is described in theGitHub General Privacy Statement.
Your theme preference
If you switch between the dark and light theme, your choice is stored in a cookie on your device so the site remembers it. See the cookie policy for details and to clear it.
If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. I use it only to reply and to help you, keep it no longer than needed, and never share it or add you to a mailing list.
Links to other sites
Links to app stores, GitHub and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Store pages are run by Apple, Google or Microsoft, not by me.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation — you have rights to access, correct and delete personal data about you, and to object to its use. Because this website doesn’t collect personal data, the only data I may hold is our email correspondence. To access or delete it, emailsupport@chrisgonzalez.net. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes — for example, if privacy-friendly analytics are added — this page will be updated first, and the date above will change.
